In line with the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s dream of a trillion-dollar economy for Tamil Nadu, the Thousanlights Entrepreneurship Circle, created by MLA Dr. Ezhilan Naganathan organized a mega meeting of industrial investment agencies and entrepreneurs in collaboration with LIBA on 15th March 2023. 50 entrepreneurs were selected to present their business plan at the event. Projects worth approximately Rs. 15 crores were presented on the occasion. Government agencies including TIIC, MSME, TANSIM, Startup TN, TANSEED, TIDCO, Angel investors and banks participated in the event to provide spot solutions and assistance. Dr. Ezhilan Naganathan welcomed the gathering and gave an introductory note, followed by Greetings and Welcome addresses by Thiru N. Chitrarasu, Chairman Standing Council (Works), Greater Chennai Corporation, Rev. Dr. C. Joe Arun,SJ Director LIBA, and Thiru Hans Raj Verma, IAS, Chairman & MD TIIC. The inauguration was presided over by Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Hon’ble Minister for Finance and Human Resource Management who also delivered a Special Address. Industrialists from various spheres and students of business schools participated as special observers to increase their knowledge and get key insights on entrepreneurship ecosystem.
