The HR Academic Advisory Council meeting held on 5th August 2024 was chaired by Prof. P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean Academics, and co-led by Prof. B. Aiswarya, Area Chair and Associate Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs. It focused on enhancing our curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the HR industry by incorporating the latest trends and technologies, such as digital transformation, AI, and HR analytics. Internal members along with external experts like Mr. Charles JS Walter, Associate Vice President at Hyundai Motor Pvt. Ltd., Prof. Anamika Sinha from the Goa Institute of Management, and Mr. Edward Francis Paul, Director of Human Resources at RCI, contributed valuable insights to integrate innovative courses like HR Auditing, Neuroscience & Design Thinking, and Virtual Reality (VR) simulations, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills. The objectives of the HR Academic Advisory Council meeting were to review and update the HR curriculum to align with the latest industry trends and technologies, such as digital transformation, AI, and HR analytics, and to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of the program.
