NSIGHT ‘22, the national Management Symposium of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), was conducted on 14th December 2022 with the aim of bridging the gap between the industry’s trends and students’ views. Dr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director, LIBA introduced the keynote speaker Mr. Charles JS Walter, Group HR Head, Hyundai India Limited. The theme “Driving Sustainable Development with the help of AI”, prompted Mr. Walter to emphasize the irreversible changes caused to the ecosystem by humans, followed by an expert session on the topic AI for physical, emotional and financial well-being, by Ms. Pooja Malhotra, Vice President, Data & Analytics, NatWest Group, Mr. Kewyn George, Director – Information Services, Expeditors and Dr. Vallabha Deevi, Principal Data Scientist, Tiger Analytics. A Panel Discussion on Net Zero for Sustainability by Mr. GRK Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, MAARG Group, Mr. Arun Thamizhvanan, Data Science Manager Sectors & Decarbonization, Lubes & Chemicals, Shell and Mr. Anand Mahalingam, VP Data Labs, HDFC Life was an eye-opener to the students present.
