The meeting of delegates from the University of Buckingham, UK, Kerry Indev Logistics, and LIBA took place on 25th September 2023 to discuss potential collaboration opportunities on an MBA course in Shipping and Logistics with the University of Buckingham. Ms. Annie from the University of Buckingham and Dr. S. Xavier Britto, Chairman of Kerry Indev Logistics, were warmly welcomed by Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director-LIBA. All LIBA officials and key officials from Kerry Indev participated in the meeting. Dr. S. Xavier Britto provided background information about the discussions held with officials from the University of Buckingham in the UK, while Prof. P. Chandiran presented information about the current logistics courses offered at LIBA, and Dr. Rajan Babu from Kerry Indev presented the proposed curriculum for the MBA in Shipping and Logistics. A committee has been established to further develop this collaboration, consisting of the Dean of Academics-LIBA, Prof. P. Chandiran – Associate Dean, Weekend and Diploma Programmes, Rev. Fr. Poondy Rajan, Finance Controller, Dr. Rajan Babu, and one faculty member from the Operations area. Ms. Annie expressed her interest in the proposal and conveyed her intention to take it forward with her university.
