In collaboration with the Centre for Sales Excellence, the MARKIT club presented the second edition of The Great Sales Debate 2022-23 on 1st December 2022. The moderator for the session was Mr. Deepak Raj (Account Executive at Animaker inc and an Alumnus from the F17 batch). The topic of the debate was What Is Valued Most by the Buyer, Quantity or Quality? The four speakers were Mr. Abhishek Dubey & Ms. Nandhini N for quantity and Mr. Prasanth M & Mr. Chandra Sivam for quality. In conclusion, Mr Deepak shared his experience of studying at LIBA and also highlighted the exposure he gained from working for LIBAZAAR through the Mark-IT club. He mentioned that companies focus on customer’s preferences and keep in mind that customers are the ultimate kings. Ms. Nandhini N, the Best Speaker of this Great Sales Debate, received an Amazon gift voucher of Rs. 1000 as a reward. The aim was to bring a unique extended classroom session where students themselves bring their ideas and examples for strengthening the concepts in marketing and are thus engaged more efficiently in their academic endeavours.
