On 11th February 2023, a Leadership Training Program for the teachers of Jesuit Refugee Services was organised by the Centre for Leadership Excellence. A presentation by Dr. Deepa on how to develop Individual and Leadership skills in Tamil and English enlightened the participants. They were then divided into groups and were asked to prepare their own logo for the team and come up with a leader for the team. The `Lost in the Sea’ exercise was used to drive home the point about group dynamics and the need for effective interpersonal skills to be successful in life. The objective was to impart Leadership training to teachers belonging to the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) at different locations and to make them understand themselves as individuals and understand the group dynamics of a group as teachers.
