The seventh Faculty Seminar Series (FSS) held on 24th November 2022 at LIBA, was on “A Comprehensive Study of Hawkers in Tamil Nadu: Socio-economic Conditions, Economic Contributions, Entrepreneurial Intentions and Quality of Work Life”. Mr. Vigneshwar, Teaching Assistant, LIBA, presented the qualitative part of research. Fr. Louie Albert, SJ, Assistant Professor – Department of Sociology, Loyola College, said that “this is an 8000-crore economy involving more than 40 million lives.” The objective of the session was to bring together the faculty fraternity and promote discussions regarding related topics through the presentation of research activity which will lead to a robust research atmosphere at LIBA.
