Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) conducted its 45th Convocation Ceremony on 6th April 2024 at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Ms. Shobana Ravi, President – Infotech, Innovation and Learning, TAFE, Rev. Fr. Antony Robinson SJ,Rector, Loyola College Institutions and Vice Chairperson, Board of Governors, LIBA,  Rev. Fr. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA, Rev.Fr.Y.Poondy Rajan, Finance Controller and Prof.P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean–Academics. Rev Fr. Rector offered his felicitations and blessings to the graduands. He stressed upon the need to place people before profit and continue to sustain the values that they had learnt in LIBA. Rev. Fr. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA, declared the graduation ceremony open and welcomed the gathering.  He congratulated the graduands and reminded them of the constant growth and transformation that LIBA is undergoing to provide the best education while instilling its motto, ‘Excellence with Ethics’. He introduced the Chief Guest for the occasion and also briefly presented the Annual Report of LIBA 2023-2024. In his presentation, Fr. Director mentioned about how LIBA looked at business education differently, and was not just imparting knowledge, but true to the ideals of Jesuit Higher Education, was concerned with Cura Personalis – forming the character of men and women students and Magis, the pursuit of excellence. Chief Guest Ms.Shobana Ravi. commenced her speech by tracing her own personal journey of growth to reach where she was today. She shared her reflections on leadership and urged everyone to be their own leader. She also insisted on upskilling and reskilling for transformative growth. 178 PGDM Graduands and 21 EDBM students attended the grand occasion to receive their degree and diplomas at the 45th Convocation Ceremony of LIBA. After this the release of brochures, Journal and Monograph by the Chief Guest took place. The Placement Brochure, Management Matters, the LIBA Journal, the Faculty Seminar Series Monograph, and the Beyond Mangement Initiative Newsletter were released by the Chief Guest and the respective Faculty coordinators received the first copies which was followed by reflections and thanksgiving by Ms.Aasini Y,N.M and Mr.Calvin Cris Matthews from the F22 Batch.
